13 & 14 Months

These past two months have flown by so quickly that I have gotten far behind on the blog so I am going to combined the twins 13 and 14 month post.  They both still only have 4 teeth each, hopefully more will come in soon.  Over the past month the babies have gone from crawling to walking.  Evan started walking around August 4th the majority of the day and then Luke started walking about August 20th.  They get better at walking daily.  Evan loves to say uh ho over and over, ma "more", dada, mama and ba "dog".  Luke says ma "more", ba for "dog", mama, dada, ahhhba "Wesley".  They love to feed Max their food and he gets in trouble when he gets it.  Wesley didn't climb when he was little but Evan and Luke climb on everything.  This slide had to be put in the attic because Evan could climb up it and then he would fall off.  We will try to get it back out around Christmas and see if they can stay on it better.

Evan and Luke love to wear sunglasses.  They will bring you a pair of glasses have you put them on and then walk off and take them off.  They will want you to do this over and over.
I snapped this picture with my phone so it is blurry but I think it is a cute picture.
I have been going through all of Wesley's old clothes that we kept and I found his Indian Halloween costume.  Evan loved wearing this headband that went with it.
We keep this chair in Wesley's doorway so that the babies can not get in and get his Legos'  One afternoon I found Evan climbing up the chair and Luke helping by pushing his bottom.  We will need to find a different alternative soon.
They love to pull out all their toys on the book shelves and this kitchen and climb in them.  They think they are very cute with they do it.

They love to play outside.  They would prefer to walk around and play with the toys more than swing.  They go to the doctor for their 15 month checkup in a few weeks.  I can't wait to see how much they have grown since their 12 month check up.

Summer Fun

We have had a busy summer this year. We traveled to Mark's parents house for the July 4th weekend. This was the babies first road trip and they did great.  We had to stop every two hours and get out to stretch and play then loaded back up and got back on the road.  Mark's sister took a great family picture of all 5 of us while we were there.

Wesley and the babies playing in the pool.
This summer Wesley has played more in the water/pool than he every has.  The past summers Wesley hasn't enjoyed going to the pool because he dislikes getting water on his face.  He got a pair of goggles this summer and has been swimming and running through the water.

We bought a new car this summer.  In my Tahoe all three boys were in the middle row and Wesley couldn't get his seatbelt buckled so we decided to get a new car.  Mark found a toyota Sequoia with bucket seats in the second row.  Wesley enjoys sitting in the back and can now buckle his own seat belt.

We headed to the zoo in June before it got too hot.
Our zoo has a children's splash pad that the boys loved playing in.

Wesley all ready for the pool. This summer we have spent many nights at the pool.  Last year Wesley didn't want anything to do with the pool.  He doesn't like his face getting wet. This summer he has done an awesome job with swimming.  He can now put his face all the way under the water, swim without his floaties and loves to snorkel.  He has come along way this summer.

First Menchie's trip of the summer.  This was the babies first trip to Menchie's and they discovered why big brother LOVES it so much.

This summer we went with our MOMS Club to tour a fire station.  Wesley was very excited to explore all their tools, their station and fire truck.

This is Wesley and Eli.  They have been friends since we moved here 5 years ago.

We have had a very fun and exciting summer I can't wait to see what this school year has in store for us.
