First Day of Pre K!!

Today was Wesley's first day of pre k.  He was excited and anxoius to go.  He woke up Tuesday morning to balloons attached to his door and a breakfast party waiting for him.  Mark stayed home to go with us to drop Wesley off and to make him his favorite breakfast; bacon and chocolate chip pancakes with sprinkles.

 Here is Wesley's first day of Pre-K sign and a questionnaire for Wesley to answer when he gets home from school.

Two Month's Old!!

Another month has flown by and the babies are two months old! The babies are growing and changing daily.  The babies went to the dr today and they have grown so much since they were born.  She said they were right were they needed to be.  The Dr said not to leave the babies on a surface up high because she expects them to be rolling over soon with how well they are raising themselves up.

Both babies are starting to:

*smile more
*wear size 3 month clothes
*stay awake more during the day.  2-3 hours in the morning and 2 hours or so in the afternoon/evening.
*sleeping in their own crib during the day and at night.
*eat every 3-4 hours.  At night they go to bed around 9:00 and sleep until 2:30 or so then go back to
  sleep and wake up around 6 am.
* nurse for a little while then have a 4 oz. bottle.
* raise their bodies up during tummy time.  Luke enjoys tummy time more than Evan.  They can raise
   their head and look around while you are holding him.
*enjoy sitting outside at night.  After dinner every night we head outside to play with Wesley and the
  babies love to sit in their bouncy seat and look around listening to the locus.

 Wesley loves his brothers.  After they eat he will sit next to them and talk to them for just a second.  He can't wait for them to get big enough to play.

 Wesley doesn't ask to feed the babies ever and one morning he asked to help feed Luke.  It only took two seconds and he was ready to play with his toys.

Road Trip

Some people thought we were crazy when we told them we were driving to Midland when the babies were 5 weeks old.  My brother, Cody was getting married on July 19th and we didn't want to miss it.  The babies finished eating around 6 am on Thursday so we loaded up and headed out early.  All of the kids did wonderful.  Wesley watched movies and played on the Ipad the whole time.  The babies slept the majority of the time.  We had to stop twice to feed them.

 On Friday morning the guys headed out to shoot sporting clays.  Kay and Christy went to help set up the reception area for the wedding.  I stayed home with Luke, Evan, Madi and Wesley.  Madison and Wesley love to play with each other and of course have Oreo's.

 We had many guest come by that wanted to meet the babies.  This is Katie's moms Aunt, Pat holding Luke.

Daddy's Clothes

Mark's mom gave us two outfits Mark wore when he was a baby.  We took Wesley's picture in them when he was 6 weeks old and they almost didn't fit.  When the babies turned 7 weeks old we took their picture.

One Month Old!!!

We made it through the first month with twins!!!  The babies turned one month old on July 8th.  They are the easiest babies.  Luke and Evan wake up to eat every 3-4 hours and then fall back asleep until they are hungry again.  Both babies have held their head up from the day they were born.  They get better and better at it daily.  Both babies have gained their weight back plus more!!

Luke and Evan love bath time.  They just lay in their bath, relax and look around.  Wesley loves to watch them take their baths. At this point both babies are very laid back and very rarely cry even when they are hungry. The babies wear premie clothing right now.

 Evan and Luke take naps in their crib during the day.  We swaddle the babies and they will wiggle their way out of the swaddles by the time they wake up.

At night the babies sleep in our room in a pack n play next to each other in a moses basket.  They are so tiny they share the same basket.

With Wesley we took monthly pictures of him with this mouse so we decided we would take Luke and Evan's monthly picture as well.

We can not wait to see what the next month has in hold for us.
