Mark did a great job at installing the lights.
Over this Thanksgiving weekend, Mark had a few extra day off of work so we decided that we should put up our Christmas decorations before Wesley arrives. We had fun deciding where to place the Christmas decorations and the tree; next year it will be more fun with the help of Welsey!
We are all ready for baby Wesley's arrival. His carseat is installed in the car, his bag is packed and all his clothes are washed and ready. Stay tuned for more information.
After Hurricane Ike Mark went fly fishing everyday and Max went along a few times. He decided that he wanted to be a fly fisherman for this Halloween. Mark and I did not dress up this Halloween, we stayed home and passed out candy to all the little trick-or-treaters. This time next year we will have Wesley to dress up and take to a fall festival.
Max was watching tv which is what he likes to do now.
4 minutes later he was ready for the hat to come off of his head. 
We received our last big registery gifts at Mark's work baby shower (pictures to come). We decided to assemble the pack n play one night when Mark got home from work. This took a lot longer than I anticipated (directions are the key when assembling something). Mark decided that he did not need the directions because this was going to be very easy. Well 30 minutes later I was getting worried because this is where Wesley is going to sleep the first month or so of his life and I needed to make sure it was assembled correctly. After reading the instructions we finished putting it together and rolled it into the bedroom. 
Yea, step 1: get out directions. The next night Mark, Max and I decided to put the swing together. We read the instruction step by step and the swing was put together in no time! Max decided to help Mark put the seat cover on. 
Mark and I were in Midland for the baby shower and we found a quote to stencil on Wesley's wall. Mark decided that he was ready to tackle this task and we found that it was very easy to do.
Well if Katie knew the difference between a"u" and a "n" she would not have to work hard to get the letter off.! oops
Max was exhausted after working a few hours on the wall. It was all worth it in the end.
Wesley cooperated with the tech during the first few minutes of his photoshot and looked directly at her. This is a picture of his face.

We found out that Welsey does have hair, yea!! So we will have to see if he has blonde or brown hair.
