Tadpoles

The pond in our neighborhood has thousands of tadpoles every year. We headed down there this afternoon to check them out.

Easter celebrations

Wesley got to participate in several Easter celebrations this year. He really was looking forward to the Easter egg hunt. For the past two years we have had an egg hunt with our MOMS club. We met at a wooded park and the kids had a great time.

He opened this egg up and screamed CHOCOLATE!! EVERYBODY I GOT CHOCOLATE!!
On the Thursday before Easter Wesley's school had an egg hunt and a party.

On Easter morning we got up and started the day off with a craft. We sprayed shaving cream in a pan then make lines with paint and swirled it around with a paint brush, pushed an paper egg into it and it made a marbled looking egg.





After it dried for a few minutes we squeegee the shaving cream off and the paint stuck to the paper.
We went to church service on Saturday night.

On Sunday afternoon we had a party with our friends. Katie made Peep Smores for the kids to take home.
The Easter bunny came by while Wesley was napping.

Since this is Wesley's third egg hunt this year he realized that there are prizes in the eggs. So once he picked up his eggs he had to open them before he went on to find the next one.

Mark blew bubbles for the kids and they loved running around and popping them.

March fun!

The month of March flew by quickly. We have had such wonderful weather so we have spend the majority of the afternoon's outside.digging in the sandbox

We had a few showers one day and had some fun rain puddles to run through and splash.

We decided to try a garden this year.

Katie and Wesley headed to Midland to celebrate Madison's 3rd birthday. We got to see many family members. Mema and Papa came over one night and gave them their Easter presents.

Since the weather has been so nice Katie found a recipe on Pinterest to make homemade sidewalk chalk.


Once we added the food coloring we headed outside to see if it really worked.
On March 31st Katie ran her first 5k. She ran with two ladies from the neighborhood; Kelly and Becca. Mark and Wesley meet them at the finish line to cheer them on.
