May happenings

May has been a very busy month for us. We started building an outdoor kitchen to house Mark's new grill and Big Green Egg.  Mark planned out this kitchen for weeks and was ready to get started.  Wesley enjoyed helping Mark rearrange the wood and building a "dog house" for Max.

He decided that he needed to roll the backyard for Mark while he was working on his kitchen.
Mark got it framed and ready to add plywood all in one day.
Wesley loves rocks and loves to paint. So I thought he would really enjoy painting rocks.  He had a great time.

Every year in May the Edmond MOMS club puts on Touch a Truck.  They have several different trucks that the kids can climb on and honk their horns; all of the proceeds go to the Oklahoma food bank.  Wesley enjoyed climbing in the trucks, but didn't like the loud horns.

One night after dinner we decided it was time to take Wesley fishing at our neighborhood pond.  He enjoyed holding his pole for about 2 minutes then wanted to find rocks and sticks to throw in the pond.  Once a fish was hooked on his pole he would real it in.

We had fun catching small perch.
