Over the past few months we have been researching where we want to live in Edmond. Before we made the move to Oklahoma we had our eye on a community North of town; Highland Trails. This community has baseball fields, walking paths, swimming pool and a playground; the homes are built on a 1/2 acre lot and it is a very family oriented community.
On Saturday after alot of contemplating we decided to make Highland Trails our new home. It will take about six months to build the house. We look forward to moving in around the end of December. Keep watching for updates.
Our new home will be located on a cul-de-sac approximately where the trees are.

Wesley is 6 months old!!
On Monday June 22nd Wesley turned six months old. This month Wesley went to the church nursery for the first time. He seemed to have a lot of fun, because when we picked him up he was sleeping. He spends 45 minutes almost everyday in the gym nursery so mom can work out and get back in shape.
It is getting harder and harder for us to get a picture with the mouse next to Wesley. About 5 minutes into the photo shoot we got a good picture. Wesley didn't like the bubbles popping in his face but was interested in watching them fly in the air. Mark decided that Max needed bubbles blown at him and Wesley thought that was really funny.

One afternoon I came in and found Wesley reading a book after his nap. Ha Ha, just kidding. We read a book after he gets up from his afternoon nap.
Today we went to the dr for his 6 month checkup, the dr. said that he looks great. She also told us based on his height he will have a major growth spurt in a few weeks.

Father's day
Daddy, I Love You
Daddy, I love you
For all that you do.
I'll kiss you and hug you
'Cause you love me, too.
You feed me and need me
To teach you to play,
So smile 'cause I love you
On this Father's Day.

Summer Time
Summer time in Oklahoma is very hot, so we decided to get Wesley a pool to splash in. On Tuesday morning Wesley and I went and picked up a splash pool. When we got it home I filled it up with water and put it in the sun so it would be nice and warm. When Mark got home we put Wesley in his swimming trunks and dhoerf him yhr pool. He loved to splash the water on everyone. Max tried to get in but decided that Wesley was having too much fun to join in.

Mark's 26th Birthday
On Sunday, June 14th Mark woke up to his wife and son making him breakfast. After eating Mark opened his card and presents. Wesley gave him a new Polo shirt and a pair of sunglasses. We went to Bass Pro shop where Mark found a new fly fishing reel. Later that afternoon Mark heard Wesley say "da da" for the first time.

Wesley and The Imaginary Car Race
The other day while I was doing laundry, Mark and Wesley decided to have an imaginary car race with the laundry basket. Mark raced him around the living room a couple of times until Wesley took a corner too fast and had a wreck. There was an explosion of clothes and a crying baby. After a moment of being upset Wesley decided he was okay and went back to being a happy baby.

Lake Arcadia
Last weekend, Wes, Mark and I decided to load up and go to the lake for the morning. We have a lake within 10 minutes from our house. As soon as we arrived Wes fell asleep so we drove around and looked at different picnic areas and beach areas to celebrate 4th of July. When he got up we walked down to the sandy beach and let wes put his feet on the sand. He really liked the sand inbetween his toes, however he still does not like the water. I think it is just too cold for him.
Wesley was more interested in looking at the waves than the camera.
